Trainee Service Engineer
£23,300pa + regular overtime, Corby Company (field based across UK & Europe), Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm, Private Pension, Health Care Plan, 33 annual leave, Permanent, Immediate Start.
Travail Employment Group are very excited to bring this purpose-built trainee role to market, which will see the successful candidate become a fully qualified Service Engineer (once in-house training programme is completed). We have partnered with a well-established global manufacturer of unique, custom-made machinery. Our client has been established for over 20 years providing premium quality products designed to maximise productivity, increase efficiency, and ensure operator safety with their products known for their durability and dependability.
Duties:
- Undertake a training programme to become a qualified engineer.
- As a brand ambassador, attend pre-planned and breakdown visit clients site, diagnose, fault find and complete maintenance work required (of both a mechanical and electrical nature)
- Conduct routine services visits and audits.
- Work as part of a team and conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly after installation or repair.
- Attending training as and when required.
- Ensure all H&S regulations are always adhered to.
The Requirements:
- T-Level or A-Level qualifications or first year college student.
- Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable and hardworking.
We would expect the successful Trainee Service Engineer to be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain and service high quality products by utilising their skills and experience and have a hunger to learn and develop their engineering career, be an excellent communicator and ambassador of the company. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. You will be joining a team of five impressive experts in the engineering field who will provide full training.
