What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher to join our Science team. We would welcome applications from teachers with specialisms in Biology, Physics or Chemistry. The successful candidate will be able to teach throughout Key Stage 3 and GCSE. In 2024 we will be opening our brand-new, purpose-built Science teaching building.
As a teacher of Science, you will provide excellent teaching of the subject and be a role model to students. You will be a qualified teacher and be fully up to date with curriculum developments. You will work closely with the Head of department on a process of continuous improvement, ensuring that the school continues to deliver even better outcomes for students.

What the school offers its staff
Castle Donington College is a small 11-16 school. We have 640 pupils on role across five-year groups (Years 7 to 11). The College is situated on the Northwest edge of Leicestershire on the Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire border and within 30 minutes’ drive of Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough and Burton, being close to the M1 and A50.
