Our comprehensive services include personalised one-on-one support, dynamic parenting advice and groups, assistance with accessing vital statutory and community services. ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families and children? Join our dynamic team as we deliver impactful group programmes and empower communities. As a crucial team member, you'll collaborate with partner facilitators to bring evidence-based programmes to life, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality. In your role as 'Supervisor' for the Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) programme, you'll inspire growth and reflection in every session. You'll promote the joy of positive play, guiding parents and carers in enriching interactions with their children, all grounded in the Five to Thrive ethos. Safeguarding and promoting the well-being of early years children is at the heart of what we do, and you'll be a key player in this mission. You'll build strong, supportive relationships with families and professionals, ensuring every group provision meets OFSTED regulations and achieves meaningful outcomes. Your role will be vital in retaining 80% of families through engaging and effective programmes. By actively engaging with local communities and promoting our resources, you'll help us reach even more families, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Together, we'll create a supportive, thriving community where every family can flourish.
ABOUT YOU
Are you an adaptable and proactive professional with a passion for supporting families and children? We seek someone who is confident and committed, with experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating parenting group work programmes. You are collaborative and diplomatic, excelling in facilitating group sessions and providing both individual and group support to parents. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with your empathetic and persuasive nature, make you adept at understanding and addressing the diverse needs and challenges faced by parents. You are organised and independent, with a strong background in community engagement and collaborating with local organisations. Your skills in monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of group sessions and interventions are backed by your persistent and problem-solving approach. You ensure accurate record-keeping with your proficiency in documentation and address individual and group challenges effectively.
Your in-depth knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and early intervention services, along with your understanding of group dynamics, child development principles, and evidence-based parenting strategies, equips you to make a significant impact. You are adaptable and able to travel within the geographical area, flexible in your approach to hours, including evening and weekend work. As a decisive and quality-driven professional, you bring creativity, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset to our team.
