Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 08:30am - 17:00pm | Hybrid (2 Days Per Week in Office)

Our client is seeking a Communications & Engagement Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region. As we secure substantial investments and roll out transformative projects, your work will ensure that our community's needs are at the forefront of regional and national conversations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead communications and engagement for a dedicated directorate within the organization.
- Develop and execute effective communications strategies that align with Metro Mayoral priorities.
- Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing team to maintain a unified narrative.
- Manage the communications grid to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
- Oversee the procurement and management of creative services for communications campaigns.
- Monitor the success of communications strategies to ensure they are cost-effective.
- Participate in an out-of-hours media rota.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications such as CIPR or CIM, or significant related experience.
- Proven leadership in a senior communications role, including team management.
- Strong experience in crafting narratives across multiple channels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and work within a political environment.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and digital literacy skills.
