Job Description:

Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with commercial maintenance
experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?

They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience working
within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Electrical
maintenance (Mobile role and static role) and minor remedial tasks. This is mainly a Monday to Friday
role but will require some weekend work and call outs. This will be focused on various
commercial sites, the role will be covering Bournemouth and the surrounding
areas.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience.

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Technology (the main one that includes AM2, ECS, Gold Card, C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection) = ideal qualification
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
• The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018, wiring regs, the regs) - 17th edition is the slightly older/out of date version but is still accepted by some clients
• PAT testing

Day to Day Duties:

• Lighting- Change of lamps and ballasts
• Emergency light testing
• Power distribution
• Electrical fault-finding
• Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits
• PAT Testing
• Control Panel maintenance

Air Conditioning Engineers required for a mobile contract located in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

You will be required to carry out PPM, reactive repairs to split air conditioning units, variable refrigerant volume systems, chillers, air handling units and other associated plant across a range of buildings. You will also be required at times to attend other FM related issues when needed such as L8 water management regime and small handyman tasks.
Responsibilities:

• Working on a large portfolio of commercial office buildings as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
• Carrying out all the servicing & maintenance of commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration units
• Working on Various Air conditioning systems - VRV / VRFs, split & multi-split systems
• As service engineer you will cover air handling, air con & refrigeration
• Carry out all maintenance tasks and PPM's as scheduled including electrical, mechanical and fabric tasks
• Complete all paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines

Duties will include:

• Assisting the project engineering team with interfaces and integration of the Electrical & ICA
• design with that of other disciplines.
• Oversee site works of EICA suppliers and sub-contractors, manage RAMS, safe systems of work
• Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe
• solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond
• Review, evaluate and comment on sub-contractor RAMS and conduct toolbox talks as required.
• Ensure regulatory, legislative, HSE, company and end client standards are maintained throughout
• the delivery programme.
• Ensure all sub-contractor engineering designs meet required standards.
• Communicate and manage relationships both internal and external.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge, understanding and experience of construction engineering in the water sector,
• preferably with clean water.
• CSCS and SMSTS or SSSTS
• Experience of permit to work systems having been in an AP role.
• Be E&ICA knowledgeable of the following: pumps/pipe systems, chemical dosing,
• water/wastewater treatment process equipment, GAC, instrumentation, sample systems, etc.
• Knowledge of Reg 30 / WRAS
• Experience within similar roles in the water treatment industry would be advantageous

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An established facilities maintenance provider is expanding their maintenance division within the Bournemouth area and looking to recruit a dedicated and hardworking electrical maintenance engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance contract meets clients demands and compliance regulations by ensuring all pre planned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out.

This is a Monday to Friday position working 40 hours a week. There will be an on call rota that you will need to participate in which will be 1 week in 9 with a standby rate of £130 plus any call outs paid at overtime rates.

To be considered for this position you must have the experience working in a similar commercial environment and have the following qualifications;

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Systems (optional)
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
• 18th edition

In addition other requirements for this position are;

• 5 years minimum experience working within facilities maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
