What the role involves:
An important part of the staff role is to provide support to our individuals who have learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.
So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support individuals to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, activities of daily living, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.
Where You Would Work: West Midlands Supported Living Service, Kidderminster, Worcestershire
West Midlands Supported Living Service currently supports 4 females across two services; Rivermead; Bradley Thursfield Court, Kidderminster and Baxter Avenue, Kidderminster. Approximately 5 minute’s drive from each other. West Midlands Supported Living Service also has a local office base at Burgage Lodge, Franche Rd, Kidderminster.
Driving Licence required.

Company Maternity Pay
Salary Details:
Support Worker Full Time and Part Time. £23,200.32 per annum/£11.44 hr
Salary based on 39 hours per week. Various contracts available. This role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies
