About The Role
The supervisor's overall role is to communicate organizational needs, oversee employees' performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is successful.
You will be working on a variable shift rota, 5 days over 7 including weekends, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role: - To assist Facilities Services in ensuring implementation of OCS Policies.
- To support the management of Timegate processes and ensure CCF's are maintained in line with leavers, starters and the flexing demands of the business.
- To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained through compliance with all company health & safety policies and procedures.
- Provide an overarching strategy to effective quality assurance within Logistics ensure OCS are compliant with legislation and operating within SOP's.
- To operate within the company core values which are all underpinned by the ethical values of honesty, humility, integrity, respect, transparency, and trust. To deal with all Employee Relations issues as they arrive in an efficient timely manner, seeking advice, as necessary.
- Ensure appropriate level of staff/ operative levels are in line with contract specification.
- Visibility on the shop floor driving consistent OCS's professional image through praise and challenging uniform, behaviours, and quality.
- Support in the delivery of duty manager role within the management pool.
- Attendance at meetings with service managers and deputising in the hotel services absence.
- Create and deliver on monthly performance or project reports in a timely manner.
- Carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by your General Manager or Regional Manager.
Requirements: - Good standard of general education
- Specialist knowledge within Logistics
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
- Ability to speak to all personnel irrespective of grade and communicate in fluent English
- Ability to write professional communications maintaining a professional image for staff and end service users
- Completion of a facilities apprenticeship or NVQ L3 and/or two years continuous experience in the industry
- First Aid Trained
- Completed or working toward level 3 Apprenticeship
- Experience of working in a busy retail or TFM environment & ability to be flexible in approach to working times to meet with the needs of the business. Working 5 over 7 days and changing working patterns.

- Experience in the Supervisory role
- To have a technical knowledge of Logistic procedures and infection control procedures
- To have worked alongside other departments in a supervisory role
- IT Literate
- Excellent communication skills, of both written and verbal English
- To be smartly presented and be polite at all times.
- Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Proactive/Can do attitude
- Drivers Licence required
