This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Supply Services Team based at North Bristol NHS Trust and play a pivotal role in supporting the Wards Stock and Pharmacy Inventory in the Hospital.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate ward stock holding at ward levels is processed and well maintained as well as maintaining good control of the Pharmacy Inventory, keeping accurate levels, avoiding waste and managing suitable stock.

Under the guidance of the Distribution and Ward Stock Services Lead supervise the day-to-day operation of the Pharmacy Distribution and Ward Stock Services team in line with Trust policies, ensuring safe and secure storage, and supply of medicines at all times to provide effective, timely and high-quality patient centred service is always provided.
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff and workload of the Pharmacy Distribution team on a day-to-day basis to ensure a safe, effective, timely and high-quality patient centred service is always provided.
Participates in audits, both internal and external, including Government lead Inspections of services and facilities by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in relation to the Departments Wholesaler Dealers Authorisation (WDA ) ensuring continued maintenance of current licenses within Pharmacy.
To oversee all aspects of administration involved with the Pharmacy Distribution and Ward Stock at North Bristol NHS Trust.
To be responsible for all aspects of HR and recruitment (including but not limited to staff appraisals, sickness absence management, capabilities and disciplinary procedures and processes as required by the Trust).
The Pharmacy Department within the Brunel building is modern, with excellent facilities, and currently requires staff to be available to work shifts between the hours of 08:00 - 19:00 from Monday to Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9-17.
