We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join our friendly procurement and supply chain team. As a
healthcare equipment provider, work in partnership with the NHS and local council to supply the necessary equipment and aids to
support people in their day to day life.
About the role:
* Understand and use systems to create purchase orders
* Supplier liaising to ensure purchase orders can be processed without issue
* Invoice reconciliation and querying discrepancies with suppliers and service centres
* Ensure all health and safety standards and polices are adhered to
* Assist in the development of purchasing governance
* Undertake transactional tasks as and when required
What are we looking for?
* Confident IT and Microsoft Office user
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Time management and organisational skills
* Previous purchasing experience desired
* Flexible and positive attitude towards work
What can we offer you?
* £25,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours)
* Up to 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus optional 5 unpaid days
