Manpower UK have been instructed by a pioneering Surrey based engineering company, dedicated to sustainable practice and minimising their environmental footprint, to source a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to support their company grow towards a greener future. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of components from a global supply chain while considering environmental sustainability. Collaborating with your team, you'll enhance supplier's quality and delivery performance.
You'll evaluate component vendor's capabilities to produce defect-free components sustainably, supporting new product introductions. By coordinating flawless product launches and developing supplier's performance reports, you'll minimize production shortages and line stops, reducing environmental impact. Your role involves reviewing and approving PPAPs promptly, maintaining records, and driving root cause analyses to improve quality throughout the product life cycle.
We're seeking candidates ideally with an engineering degree or recognized Quality Management qualification, coupled with ISO 9001 auditing credentials. Previous experience in supplier quality assurance, preferably in automotive manufacturing, is essential. Proficiency in IATF 16949, Core Tools and quality methodologies is beneficial.
