Due to growth we are now looking for an experienced Logistic Operational Excellence Manager to pave the path of this new role. This could be your opportunity to further your career as an Operational Excellence Manager within the UKs leading Dairy brand.
The role will cover multiple sites Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton and Droitwich.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, reliable and organised. A resilient, presentable and self-disciplined individual with the ability to influence at all levels, who takes a positive approach and can communicate effectively in a structured, time bound environment. Growth mindset of change management is essential. Ability to communicate to large numbers of people at all levels.
The Regional Logistics Operational Excellence Manager will have full responsibility for –
- Creating and auditing annual plans.
- Supporting, guiding and governing site teams.
- Standardising work practices and supporting change management.
- Delivering annual Logistics Excellence strategies.
- Coaching and mentoring teams and individuals where required to influence positive change.
- Design and execute training programs for staff at all levels on operational excellence principles, tools, and techniques to build an organizational culture of continuous improvement.
- Support sites leadership team to build annual plans for Logistics Excellence, set time frames, targets, SMART objectives.
- Support sites in identifying areas of improvement for each site to drive efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with site teams at all levels to implement Logistics Excellence ways of working into everything we do, driving a cultural change.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction, proposing innovative solutions to address these issues.
- Establish excellent working relationships with site teams and key stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- Full clean driving licence
- CI Knowledge and experience
- Experience using 6 Sigma
- Worked in a high pressured fast paced environment
- Can work alone and have self-motivation
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Food manufacturing / Logistic experience desirable
