The Exciting Opportunity
The position of Maintenance Manager (full time, permanent) has become available at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West. Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel as well as Health & Safety aspects including fire safety and Legionella control.
The successful candidate will:
Develop knowledge of hotel structure, fixture, fittings and plant
Ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner.
Produce and monitor preventative maintenance programme.
Maintain bedroom care programme.
Monitor company inspections results and remedy faults.
Inspect all plant and equipment on a daily basis.
Co-ordinate and liaise with outside contractors arriving at the hotel.

The Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West is a 160 bedroom hotel which is situated on the Heriot-Watt University campus, with a state-of-the-art lobby and 'The Avenue' at the centre of it all. Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.
