• Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Full-time, long-term role starting September 2024
• Earn up to £470 per week as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Monday-Friday, 32 hours per week. Term-time only
• Fantastic inclusive school located near New Ferry, Wirral
• Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings with pupils with additional needs
• Perfect experience for aspiring teachers, education psychologists or speech and language therapists
• Graduates with an Education, Psychology or core subject related degree welcome to apply
• Previous SEN experience preferred but not essential
• Interviews and trial days available immediately
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school have designated learning areas and a devoted team that aim to provide the best possible learning experiences for students with additional needs. There is a close-knit team of Teaching Assistants who work closely with the SENCO to utilise their skills and knowledge in the best way possible.
This school is located near New Ferry – it is commutable from Liverpool city centre and the Wirral by car or public transport. There is also a large car park for staff to use. The school is within a deprived area and elcome a diverse range of students through the door – it is an exciting and rewarding place to work and has been recognised by the local community for the progress they have made. Although previous SEN experience is preferred, the school also offers bespoke training and is looking for the right type of character to join them – someone passionate and willing to get stuck in.
