• Valid ECS Card graded to Electrician & 18th Edition
• Valid UK driving licence

You will be joining the on-site trade team at one of the largest employers in Edinburgh. They manage a number of commercial properties throughout the city centre and, due to an increase in workload, are looking to add an electrician to their maintenance team.
Your new role
You will be working alongside other electricians working on reactive & planned maintenance works.
Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and systems
• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lighting, and wiring
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes
• Prepare and maintain records of completed work

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified Electrician with a valid ECS card graded to Electrician and ideally have worked in a maintenance environment. You will be joining a large estates department at one of the largest employers in Edinburgh. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a maintenance joiner to their reactive team.
Your new role
You will be responding to a variety of reactive jobs on a daily basis which will be divided up amongst the trades team. All the work is on commercial properties throughout Edinburgh city centre, including office blocks, leisure facilities, student accommodation and lecture halls. You will be reporting to a trade base in central Edinburgh each morning, reporting to the contracts manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified joiner, ideally with experience working in a similar environment. Due to the nature of the work, you will be working on foot from building to building, so, so you will need to carry a basic tool kit in a rucksack. A driving licence is required, but there is not a van provided. You do not need a CSCS card.
