Your new company
A long-term interim opportunity has arisen for a Property Operations professional to join an international charity, working primarily from their HQ based in the Southwest. You will join an expanding estates and facilities team who are responsible for the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of a wide range of operational building types, ranging from medical facilities, visitor attraction buildings, offices and rural areas.
Your new role
Joining as a maintenance operations professional, you will lead a team consisting of over 21 operatives consisting of plumbers, electricians, carpenters and multi-trade operatives. You'll coordinate and lead this team to ensure that they are delivering an efficient and high-quality day-to-day maintenance service across the portfolio of various building types. You'll inspect more complex repair and defect issues before recommending a course of action, as well as helping to deliver planned maintenance programmes and ensure that property compliance and health & safety standards are continuously maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent operational management background within a direct labour environment. Experience working within a property maintenance setting, within a varied and diverse estate would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an interim contract with initial duration of between three and six months - this contract is likely to extend beyond this point, however could also progress into a permanent and salaried position should this be of interest. You will receive a salary of £55,000, paid to you on a monthly basis across the duration of your contract period in this role.
