Based in Urmston, your new company is a vibrant and forward-thinking niche business who have a new vacancy for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their business. With your experience and hard-working nature, you report to the FC and manage the Sales Ledger function, working and supporting your colleagues in a small finance function.
Your new role

• Holding this pivotal role within the business, you will be solely responsible for accurately manually raising sales invoices, ensuring all are correct and contain the right and relevant costings.
• Working on various portals you will be in charge of uploading invoices to internal invoicing finance portals & external client portals.
• Credit control duties (small part of the role) by means of managing the online portals ensuring payments are paid and received.
• Supporting the wide finance team with any adhoc duties

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced in Sales Ledger, Credit Control and related functions
• Experience within query management
• MS Office - Excel including Vlookups & pivot tables
• Xero accounting system usage or any similar accounting systems would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

What you'll get in return
Salary :- 27,000-28,000pa doe
Hybrid 2days wfh, 3 days office

Hours 8-4 (1hour lunch) or 9-5 (1hour lunch) Monday to Friday
25days holidays rising 1 day per completed year (capped at 29)

Your new role
Your new role as Sales Co-ordinator is a varied role. You will have numerous responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Produce quotations to provide for customers
• Provide effective account management
• Support external sales to bring visit action items to completion
• Processing new sales leads
• Monitoring customer accounts
• Receipt and processing of incoming orders from customers
• Ensuring accurate input of customer orders onto SAP system
• Performing end-to-end management of customer orders
• Negotiating factory lead times
• Various other duties!

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an individual who is proactive and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn. You will be a strong communicator who is ready to communicate verbally or in writing with customers, suppliers and any other stakeholders necessary. Further to this, you will be a tech-savvy individual with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. You will be expected to work well within a team and possess good organisation and multitasking skills.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £23,000 - £23,500. You will have the opportunity to work with flexitime. The organisation offers 25 days holiday + bank holidays and offers a standard pension scheme. Further to this, there is free parking available.
