We are looking for Delivery Drivers to join our dynamic team to work with us alongside one of the world's largest online retailers.
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be the friendly face of our business. This is a really important 'front line' role that is a crucial part of the online operation, where you will be key in supporting our online growth ambitions. You will represent the company with every single customer you meet.
About the Role:
Your role will be to deliver goods to our customers in South London, Central London and surrounding areas. Must have exceptional customer service, you will build strong relationships with our customers, demonstrating flexibility and integrity, whilst being legally compliant in your duties. The Delivery Driver should always aim to exceed customer expectations and be able to use initiative to deal calmly with unexpected situations.
This job may entail working with heavy products and involves lifting.
Please note that due to the nature of the role, your shift can over run so must be flexible
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
A Driver Assessment will be required for this role.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Full UK Manual Driving Licence (No more than 6 penalty points)
Well-presented, customer-focused, and offer 'perfect door-step customer experience'
Salary: £12.66
Contract type: Full Time/ Flexitime 0 hrs contract
Location: South London, Coulsdon CR5 Nearest Train station is Coulsdon South
Shift Pattern: PM Drivers full time to include weekends (must be able to commit to weekends)

Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with local roads and routes is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading products
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Valid manual driver's licence (Max 6pts)
