This role leads a team of designers to shape the look and feel of Giant Eagle’s digital properties
Job Description
- Experience Required: 5 to 10 years UX & Product Design ideally in a retail/ecommerce industry
- Experience Desired: 5+ years of experience in UX/Digital product design with a strong understanding of the craft of design;
- Experience Required: 2+ years people management experience
- Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Job Responsibilities
- Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to guide the discovery and production of low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables
- Guide a team of designers to project deliverables such as low and high-fidelity UI prototypes, and finished designs.
- Provide direct guidance and mentorship to UX Team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders across program teams to support and provide input into the specific translation of high-level strategic imperatives
- Synthesize research, build insights, reframe problems, and provide recommendations that enable our teams to generate and iterate on new solutions
