Senior Engineer / Sub Agent - Leading Civils Contractor - Kent & East Sussex
My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company.
They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent to work on projects in their Southeastern Region which broadly covers Kent and East Sussex.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects.
The nature of the work that this contractor varies but their core sectors include;
- Highways and Bridges
- Section 278 Development Infrastructure
- Environment Agency Works
- Coastal & Marine
- Nuclear
- Water & Wastewater
- Public Realm
- Earthworks & Ground Remediation
- Piling & Foundations
My client would currently consider individuals who are already in a Sub Agent role, or those who are in a more junior role (Site Engineer / Section Engineer) that are looking to transition into this type of position.
Sub Agent duties include assisting the Site Agent with the successful and timely delivery of the projects:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
