About the Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing early design advice through to detailed Mechanical Services Design.



Other responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer will include:

Production of mechanical building services design calculations
Producing feasibility reports, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages.
Undertaking surveys on mechanical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use.
Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts including full service and Design and Build
Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments
Overseeing and supervising the installation of building services systems
Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software


About You

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be degree qualified with around 10 years post qualification experience within Building Services. You will ideally have experience of working as a contract administrator and will be confident working on buildings that contain asbestos.



Other requirements will include:



Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering
BIM and Revit software experience.
Project Management qualification
P405 working with asbestos
Proficiency with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software.

About the Senior Bridge Engineer Role
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will use your specialist engineering knowledge and experience to lead the team in the appraisal, assessment, and design of bridge structures.

Other responsibilities of the Senior Bridge Engineer will include:
Undertaking bridge design from option study to detailed design, including preliminary design and outline cost estimates.
Undertaking bridge inspections (GI’s and PI’s) and assessments.
Preparation of analytical models, perform analyses and detailed calculations.
Document preparation, including authoring technical reports, such as AIPs, assessment and design reports, specifications and contract documents.

About You
As Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be a Chartered Engineer with experience in leading multiple small to large sized projects. You will be comfortable working in a multi disciplined team and have the ability to communicate at all levels.

Other requirements include:
Be a Chartered Engineer and have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
Have experience undertaking concept and detailed design reviews.
Proficient in the use of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW).
Conversant with analysis and design software packages, such as STAAD, MIDAS, LUSAS, Autodesk SBD etc.

You will be working with a strong team of Engineers and Technicians to develop structural designs to meet the client’s specifications. About the Senior Structural Technician Role
As Senior Structural Technician, you will lead and produce Revit Models and AutoCAD drawings on a variety of projects from feasibility, concept and detailed design stages, construction and handover.

Other responsibilities include:
Undertake site surveys to develop the brief and to proactively progress the design.
Communicate and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to develop a structural design that meets client and key stakeholder requirements.
Responsible for the production, supervision and coordination of 3D BIM models and 2D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, respectively.
Produce sketches and detailed drawings appropriate to RIBA staged delivery
Supervising and mentoring of junior and less experienced members of the structures team in Revit and AutoCAD to set and maintain high standards.

About You – The Senior Structural Technician
As the Senior Structural Technician, you will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD to produce detailed technical models and drawings, alongside experience in structural detailing.

Other requirements include:
HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience working on new building designs and refurbishment projects, especially in structural steelwork and reinforced concrete.
Experienced in RIBA staged project delivery and maintaining budget.
Computer literate, with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

About the Senior Electrical Engineer Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing a variety of services at all stages of the project. This position will involve visiting sites to attend meetings, carry out inspections and surveys across current and planned projects across the North of England.



Other responsibilities will include:

Production of Electrical Building Services design calculations
Producing feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages
Overseeing and supervising the installation of building services systems, undertaking commissioning management and specifying maintenance and operating procedures
Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements.


About You

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be degree qualified or have a HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering and ideally working towards MCIBSE. You will have the ability to produce plans, sections and detailed drawings, specifications, schedules of works to high standards.



Other requirements of the Senior Electrical Engineer include previous experience in:

The preparation of electrical surveys and condition survey reports
Investigation and analysis of services defects to develop solutions to system failures.
The preparation of feasibility studies.
Preparation of decarbonisation/sustainability reports.
