Management Accountant (Hybrid) needed in Poole, £40,297.00 pa PAYE - Reference:5240973
7-8 Months Fixed Term Contract
This role is based in Poole. We are flexible with working and are virtual first but there will be a requirement to be in an office.
To provide the best financial information and support for our development business and other internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
a. Production of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
b. Preparation of budgets and forecasts
c. Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
d. Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge to ensure that accounts are prepared correctly and in line with the relevant accounting standards.
e. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met without exception
f. Manage workload, delivery and development of assistant management accountants
g. Balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with best practice
h. Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
i. Review of assistant management accounts work to ensure accuracy
j. Interrogation of financial systems to identify errors and make corrections
k. Variance analysis
l. Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
m. Identify opportunities for improvements and challenge the status quo
n. External returns and reporting
o. Requirement to assist with projects and undertake additional responsibilities on an adhoc basis
This is a full time role on a 7-8 Month Fixed Term Contract
