SOW Programme Manager
Location: Heathrow/London
The role
The SOW Programme Manager will support the expansion of an AI Delivery Programme and the design of a SOW Management Solution. The SOW Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of programme delivery, including strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, team management, and reporting on delivery progress, financials, and risks. This role will require regular visibility at sites to ensure strong stakeholder relationships are built to successfully manage the programme and identify business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align programme objectives with the strategic goals of the organisation, ensuring interlinking projects contribute to broader business outcomes.
- Adjust strategies and plans in response to evolving internal and external factors, ensuring smooth programme transitions.
- Efficiently allocate resources across multiple projects to optimise utilisation and success.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure programme success.
- Maintain high-quality standards across deliverables, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
- Identify and report on programme risks, along with mitigation strategies.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver accordingly.
About you:
- Extensive experience in programme management, particularly in delivering IT change and transformation services.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects or programmes involving digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, engaging both internal and external stakeholders to align expectations and deliver results.
- Strong track record in resource allocation and financial management within a programme setting.
- Previous experience in managing teams, including performance management, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure alignment towards common objectives.
- Experience in navigating and managing complex change within organisations.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
- Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) or equivalent experience.
