Job Title: Senior Support Worker

Location: NN5 Duston, Norhtampton

Salary: £27,040 - £28,000 per annum (DOE)

Liaises With: Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Care Workers, Educational and multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation, external providers, and partnership organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Inspire: Provide day-to-day care and support for young people, guiding them through activities, education, and statutory meetings.

• Safeguarding: Ensure the welfare and safety of young people, maintaining high standards of care.

Must-Haves:

• NVQ Level 3: Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent relevant residential experience.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English for record-keeping and report writing.
• Experience: Working with young people aged 12 to 17 with challenging behaviours, shift leading, and supervising care staff.
• Knowledge: Understanding of the problems faced by children and young people, and the effects of abuse and depression.
• Driver’s License: Valid and up-to-date.

In this key leadership position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operational management of the care service, supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, and ensuring that the individuals we support receive the highest standard of care.
