As a HR Support Desk Adviser, you will provide professional first-line customer service support to managers and staff on all areas of HR policy, process, and payroll queries. Delivery of the service is from a central office in a contact centre environment, communicating by telephone and email, you will give up to date HR policy guidance across the organisation. You will carry out a variety of HR tasks, including payroll queries and administrative duties.

Main duties:

- Undertake a variety of HR transactional and administrative tasks required throughout the

employee life cycle in an accurate and timely manner, for example, employment changes,

absence management, pay and pensions, retirement and resignations.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide advice to HMLR employees and Line Managers on HR policies, procedures and payroll queries via the telephone and via email from our centralised contact centre.
• Work as part of the team and contribute to achieving agreed service levels.
• Ensure that the Oracle Service Cloud case management system and HR database is maintained and kept up to date.
• Perform scheduled reporting to support both customers within HR Group and the business.
• Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all HR documentation is updated to reflect current HMLR policy and retained in accordance with GDPR.
• Work on a variety of HR projects and tasks within the HR Support Desk and the wider HR as and when required.

The roles are Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5.30, 37 hours a week, dependant on needs of the business.

Duties may include but not be limited to:

* Dealing with emails from the public and professional court users
* Dealing with incoming calls and outgoing calls
* Assisting Judges and Legal Advisors, ensuring the courts are prepared with the required files and any required admin assistance they may require

Ideal candidates will need to be experienced administrators and confident with IT systems including microsoft packages. You will be a team player and enjoy working as part of a busy team

Our client is based in Nottingham City Centre and offers a great opportunity to work within the courts and gain experience

The role is temporary expected to run until the end of April 2025, with the possibility of being extended past this date, working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants would primarily be ushering within the court

Duties may include but not be limited to

* Greeting members of the public

* Liaising with judiciary, witnesses, jurors and other court users with professionalism

* Basic admin duties, data entry, dealing with queries, preparing juror packs in preparation for trials

* Walking jurors to and from court whilst remaining socially distanced

* Preparation of court rooms

* Providing support to all users of the courts, for whom it may be their first time.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our exciting client and make a difference to their customers.
This is one role, initially for 3 - 6 months, with the potential to be extended.

Role Overview:
This role is Contact Centre based, with the main duties of Customer Service Advisers answering customer queries relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and about OPG's services. This includes powers of attorney and the supervision of court appointed deputies.
Advisers also play an important role by coaching and guiding our customers that are supporting vulnerable adults who have started to lose or have lost mental capacity. Therefore, it's important that Advisers have the ability to show empathy and understanding towards our customers.
Customer Service Advisers receive regular management support, and all members of the team work together to achieve our targets.
The work mainly involves communicating with our customers verbally by telephone but also in writing, and completing the related administrative work following each interaction with a customer. This includes updating our case management system, communicating and collaborating with colleagues across the business, among other tasks.

You will be working on the Contact Centre dealing with telephone calls for 6.5 hours per day. You will be the front face of the OPG on the contact centre, so experience of dealing with a range of customer services queries, so experience of working in a contact centre role would be preferable. You will be protecting, serving our vulnerable customers dealing or signposting their queries to relevant departments, so it is imperative that you have a good skills in dealing with customers and the public.

There are three breaks built into the day and extensive training will be delivered to these individuals to deliver the front face of the OPG.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and contributing to the aims, objectives and performance of the Power of Attorney Services department to ensure delivery targets, as set out in the Business Plan, are met
* Promote a culture of excellent service delivery and continuous improvement. Comprehensive training is provided
* Answering customer queries by telephone in a contact centre environment
* Escalating customer queries and requests to other teams where appropriate
* Inputting and updating data on our IT systems
* Making and answering telephone calls with internal and external customers
* Responding to written correspondence received via post or email.
* Attending and contributing to team meetings
* Collating, analysing and formatting data and information
* To act as a point of contact for the customer, dealing with telephone enquiries and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Skills:

Brook Street are looking for a temporary Personal Assistant to work for the Environment Agency in a short-term role, due to run until December 2024. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, as long as you are close to an Environment Agency Office in order to collect your IT equipment.
