Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Deadline Day: 29th December 2023
About Brighton & Hove Albion FC
We compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage whilst keeping our Sussex community spirit. Our vision is to be a top ten Premier League club and a top four Women’s Super League club. A commitment to high performance, high professional standards and making a difference is at the heart of everything we do. The 2023/24 season is the start of new adventures, our first in European football and we would love for you to be part of our journey.
Inspire the minds of our academy players in our education provision
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to lead our in-house education department. You will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of our education provision for our academy scholars, schoolboys and U21 players. This role involves line management of our educational staff including teachers. We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management as the role will liaise with the Premier League and other agencies to ensure the programmes are organised and delivered appropriately and according to requirements. This role will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure any new players are integrated into the programme effectively and smoothly.
Your educational background
We are looking for someone who has management experience in an educational setting with BTEC, GCSE and A Level experience – ideally within a football academy but that part is not essential. You will have a creative nature as we will need you to teach engaging lessons and presentations.
We will have to carry out a teacher check before starting, so it is essential you are a qualified teacher with qualified teacher status.
Our values play a pivotal role in our success
Our values are a set of filters through which we deliver to each other, our fans, our partners and our sponsors. As a team we live and breathe these values:
• Treat People Well
• Exceed Expectations
• Aim High. Never Give Up
• Act with Integrity
• Make it Special
How we say thank you
In return for your hard work and commitment to us, some of the additional benefits you will receive will include, but not limited to:
• Free breakfast and lunch at both sites
• 23 days holiday rising with length of service (pro rata for part time staff)
• Rewards platform, which includes access to 900+ retailers, a wellbeing centre and much more!
• Priority access to match tickets and access to free WSL tickets for 23/24 season
• In-house training programme and CPD opportunities
• Discounts and benefits from partners and local businesses
Our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that reflects the diversity of our society and the world around us. Our core values mean that we have a strong ethical culture which allows us to meet the needs of our diverse audience, both on and off the pitch. We encourage applications from individuals regardless of their age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnership. If you require any reasonable adjustments to support your application, do not hesitate to get in touch with our People and Culture team.
Safeguarding is part of everything we do
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. We expect all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment.
