Position: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking Senior Business Analyst who will lead initiatives to streamline transaction lifecycle management, transaction processing, and cash and treasury management systems. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, and enhance financial transaction processing solutions that improve operational efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Duties:
Analyze and optimize the transaction lifecycle management processes, focusing on automation, reconciliation, and exception management.
Identify gaps in existing TLM processes and recommend solutions to improve transaction processing efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement enhancements to the transaction processing platform, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT, to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Develop, write, and maintain critical documentation including High-Level Business Objectives, Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional and Technical Requirement Documents, and Business Analysis Diagrams (Process Flows, Workflow Diagrams, etc.).
Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to understand business challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Oversee system testing (UAT) and validation processes to ensure system functionality meets business requirements and regulatory standards.
Analyze transaction and treasury data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Use data-driven insights to influence decision-making and drive strategic improvements.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality delivery.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery within established constraints.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any stream, or a related field
Experience in business analysis or a related role within the banking, financial services, or treasury management sectors.
Experience with financial transaction platforms (e.g., SmartStream, Oracle TMS), data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI), and reconciliation systems.
Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of Transaction Lifecycle Management systems, including reconciliation, exception management, and settlement processing.
Strong understanding of transaction processing workflows, treasury management operations, and cash management strategies.
Familiarity with financial regulations such as AML/KYC, Basel III, MiFID II, and other relevant compliance requirements in transaction processing.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in transaction processing, reconciliation, and treasury functions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
