Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Head Chefs to work for a well established company in Southampton.

Please note:

This is a full time Permanent role with our client and not on temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of a wide range of Indian curry food preparation and production in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Create and develop new menu items and recipes,ensuring each dish meets our client high standards for quality and taste
- Prepare traditional recipes to create innovative curry dishes -Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper use of equipment
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Collaborate with management to plan menus and special events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers

Qualifications:

- Extensive proven experience as a Head Chef specializing in the preparation of Indian curries or a similar role (minimum of 5 years in a reputable establishment)
- Extensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Profound knowledge of various regional Indian cuisines and expertise in a wide range of Indian spices and cooking techniques -Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ability to create and execute innovative menu items
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
