The Health and Justice Vulnerability Service have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, empathetic and caring professional to join our service as a Band 5 Recovery Lead.
The role will require you to lead, inspire and deliver on recovery outcomes. You will hold supervision responsibilities for our peer mentors and facilitate the coordination of the recovery pathway.
The focus of the post is to ensure that users of our service are at the centre of the planning, implementation and evaluation of the service delivered, and that co-production is business as usual. The post holder will lead in the development, embedding and continuity of recovery practice and principles across the Health & Justice service.
The post holder will develop sustainable co-production strategies with users of the service, relatives and carers.
To lead and support the delivery of a robust and effective Recovery pathway for service users within the Criminal Justice System.
To model recovery values at all times, inspiring hope, and optimism for people experiencing multiple health and social vulnerabilities and inequalities within the Birmingham and Solihull area and embrace opportunities for positive change.
These priorities will be subject to changes overtime as the service develops, however in the first instance will include:
• Sustaining and developing peer working/mentor schemes
• Co-production
• Fundamental training around recovery for all staff
• Management supervision of peer mentors
• Collaboration with:
Health & Justice Peer Network
The Recovery College
Patient Experience and Recovery Team
Recovery and co-production lead for secure care
• Analysis and evaluation of recovery data
• Establish Lived Experience forums
