Lead Corporate Receptionist
Salary: £14.50 ph
Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Permanent position
Our client is a well-known motor manufacturing company who are looking for a professional, welcoming and experienced Corporate Receptionist to join their head office based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
We are looking for someone with a friendly and approachable manner who and can always remain professional, displaying sound communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate needs to be IT literate with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work efficiently to agreed deadlines. You will be working alongside a one other part-time receptionist so it’s important to work well as a team, as well as be confident to work alone.
As a Corporate Receptionist, you will ensure the reception area is running effectively on a day-to-day basis as well as assisting with the smooth running of the site. You will be meeting and greeting clients, managing reception and meeting rooms, and ensuring the post room is always stocked. The successful candidate must have prior corporate reception and administration experience, excellent customer service and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact in person and via email and telephone.
- Ensuring the reception area is kept welcoming and tidy.
- Greeting all clients and their guests and issuing visitor and staff passes.
- Dealing with queries from staff, guests, retailers and contractors.
- Assisting with the booking and management of meeting rooms.
- Coordinating of bi-weekly car valet service and pool car bookings.
- Ensuring the post room is kept stocked, tidy and organised.
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and parcels.
- Escalating any building issues reported to reception and liaising with contractors.
- Administration duties
- Liaise with onsite General Affairs team with any day-to-day issues and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
Person Specification
- Passionate about exceptional customer service.
- Ability to build positive relations with colleagues, guests and clients.
- Able to interact with all levels of personnel, including Senior Executives within the client organisation.
- Able to work off their own initiative and with minimal direction.
- Confidently able to manage emergency situations and make decisions as required.
- Strong team player with a commitment to support their colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail)
- A good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Enthusiastic and conscientious approach to all Site Support related tasks
- Clear, strong and confident communication skills
- Team player with a “can do” attitude
