What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Responsible for all aspects of the mechanical design process working directly with our clients and suppliers to implement project specifications and document compliance.  Project Engineers support the entire project execution process inclusive of finances, scheduling, procurement, & site support.
• Automation packaging line design and development to include estimation, justification, budget, schedule, design, implementation, acquisition, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and documentation facilities and equipment compliant with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
• Develop equipment design and specifications, design of equipment support systems, and bid analyses.
• Lead communications with vendors (OEM’s) and contractors to implement “cutting edge” automation solutions.
• Provide engineering solutions for continuous improvement objectives using industry standard tools and procedures (Change Control, ROI, etc.)
• Ability to evaluate existing packaging operations, and suggest and drive projects to provide immediate ROI and improve productivity.
• Identify and specify required tooling and/or packaging equipment for projects within designated timelines.
• Must showcase a deep understanding of all types of packaging equipment (filling, secondary packaging, palletizing) in a range of industries and applications.  Ideally including fully “integrated” lines.
• Demonstrate daily problem-solving capabilities including strategic and critical thinking.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in packaging solutions, mechanical design, and project engineering.
• Experience in the following industries strongly preferred:  Beverage, Food, Consumer Products, Pharmaceutical, Industrial.
• Experience in writing scope of work documentation and managing contractors on site.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable ACAD, SOPs and cGMPs. 
• Knowledge of packaging components & equipment types correlating to those components.
• General understanding of automation control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD’s, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required.
• Excellent project management skills including communication, financial management, and team leadership.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but not be limited to: project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but strong consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on project experience.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Responsible for the design and implementation of integrated process related projects including design, process equipment selection and installation specifications, vendor and contractor management, process electrical / control and instrumentation design integration as well as construction management and start-up support.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of integrated design build process related projects in the range of $2MM to $10MM.
• Accountable for all aspects of client development and project execution including: proposal development and presentations, project team leadership, project budgets and forecasting, vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project engineering, and site management/installation support.
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 7 years of industrial project engineering experience involving process and related automation applications.
• Experience in the food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries is highly preferred
• Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, mass & heat balances, basic piping system design, pump sizing, material handling methods, equipment, functional & installation specifications, as well as process instrumentation & control principles.
• A practical understanding of sanitary design and construction methods and knowledge of process electrical / control and instrumentation design integration is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, basic understanding of project management fundamentals as well as strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD).
• Candidates need to possess effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires an individual who is a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but not be limited to: project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Interface with clients, lead teams of validation professionals, and provide subject matter expertise in the validation of a variety of utility, facility, and process equipment.

• Help lead business development efforts in the region as it relates to engaging with new clients in the life sciences sector, and expanding our engagements with existing clients

• Develop project scope statements, estimates and proposals. 

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously

What You’ll Bring

• A passion for a career in the Life Science industry

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in validation/quality service and project management of life sciences, biotech or other FDA regulated projects. 

• Experience with project management, good documentation practices, cGMP, & FDA validation methods and systems, ability to read engineering documents, set priorities, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Strong understanding of EPCMV, Quality by Design and risk-and science-based approaches for compliance are desired. 

• Experience with system and process risk assessments; including FMEA, HAZOP and Fault Tree Analysis desired.

• Experience with financial systems, project, and client administration

• Strong leadership, verbal communication, technical writing, project management tools and word processing skills.

• Diverse experience in leading CQV project teams related to the commissioning and qualification of clean utilities, facility systems, process support systems, bioprocess manufacturing systems, packaging equipment, and process and cleaning validation is desirable. 

• Working knowledge of process automation and computer system validation concepts, GAMP methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and latest industry expectations for data integrity.

• Project Management experience in managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk is required.

• Experience in mentorship and multi-discipline collaboration

• Displayed leadership in a consulting and service environment

• Willing and able to travel as necessary for project requirements to include but not be limited to: project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, or conventions, etc.

• BS Degree in Engineering or related technical degree.

• Schedule and coordinate monthly forecasts with project managers
• Verify that documentation is up to date and accurate and includes all invoices and purchase orders
• Compile and present monthly updates on project fund costs to project managers
• Conduct training on the cost tracking spreadsheet
• Maintain an active log of client capital projects

• Enter purchase requisitions into the myBuy ERP system
• Maintain Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) inbox and review incoming invoices
• Support directors, project managers and engineers in project-related activities
• Generate proposals, PO requisitions, and presentations
• Maintain client standard document templates including financial tools, proposal templates, and an archive of key presentations
• Set up project folders and standard documents
• Organize Microsoft Teams folders

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors
• Experience in accounting-related work (preferred)

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work in our office and remotely with engineering team of Architects and ME/EE-Engineers to help design technical solutions to meet our client’s business needs. The successful candidate will work with licensed engineers and other experienced designers to design power distribution and lighting systems for manufacturing, distribution, and other industrial and commercial facilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of Electrical panel design experience.
• Any Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical Facilities or Industry Engineering experience is preferred.
• Hands on experience in preparation of single line diagrams and panel IGA & OGA drawings, Schematics based upon technical specifications, requirement of customer.
• Perform calculations & selection of Motors, Drives, AC, Load calculations & Cable selections based upon application & design standards.
• Design Engineering, implement, maintain, and. Improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, Components, Products, and systems for commercial & industrial purposes.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and customer requirements.
• Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients
• Knowledge of UL508A, IEC, NEMA and other standards
• Able to produce electrical design on a multi-discipline project.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software is required.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
