The role
As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact as part of an international defence company. We support and enhance our customers' defence and security capabilities and critical assets, meeting their requirements of value for money, increased availability, modernisation and flexibility.
Day to day, you'll play a key role in delivering complex, high-profile and mission critical projects and programmes.
- Contribute to project/program reporting requirements (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Support risk and opportunity management
- Maintain project delivery schedules, forecasts, and baseline changes
- Manage purchase order requisitions in our business system to initiate key procurement activities
This role is full time, 37-hours per week, with a hybrid working from home arrangement; two days per week working on site at our Ashton House offices in South Bristol.
Essential experience of the Project Assistant
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Procurement - raising requisitions, tracking purchase orders (desirable)
- Organised, task-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in teams
- A drive to make a daily positive impact
Qualifications for the Project Assistant

The successful candidate must be able to achieve a minimum of BPSS security clearance for this role.
