The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is your chance to support the development and operation of a key military training estate with unique construction and facilities projects.

Day-to-day, you'll work at transforming procurement and supply chain to enable it to become a 'best in class' function.

• Deliver high quality support procurement & supply chain support across different contracts
• Engagement with stakeholders to understand upcoming priorities
• Develop robust and innovative procurement strategies
• Detailed market analysis to identify suitable supply chain partners
• Managing tender exercises for supply chain solutions

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based in Chatham with a Hybrid Working Arrangement

Experience required of the Procurement Specialist

• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Background in construction or facilities management beneficial but not essential
• Stakeholder management experience

Qualifications Required for the Procurement Specialist

• NVQ Level 3 or above in relevant subject
• CIPS member or working towards beneficial but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
