The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is your chance to support the development and operation of a key military training estate with unique construction and facilities projects.
Day-to-day, you'll work at transforming procurement and supply chain to enable it to become a 'best in class' function.
- Deliver high quality support procurement & supply chain support across different contracts
- Engagement with stakeholders to understand upcoming priorities
- Develop robust and innovative procurement strategies
- Detailed market analysis to identify suitable supply chain partners
- Managing tender exercises for supply chain solutions
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based in Chatham with a Hybrid Working Arrangement
Experience required of the Procurement Specialist
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Background in construction or facilities management beneficial but not essential
- Stakeholder management experience
Qualifications Required for the Procurement Specialist
- NVQ Level 3 or above in relevant subject
- CIPS member or working towards beneficial but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
