About the role…
Join our team as Shift Manager (Duty Manager) and overseeing all aspects of the operation as required, including health and safety, production, logistics and planning.
Your role will involve leading the production to maximise completions through the cosmetic, mechanical and image departments and overseeing the operations during rotational weekend work based on working on the 4on 4off shift pattern.
Responsibilities…
Cover for Production Managers when required
Help with hiring and training of new employees via conducting skill tests and interviews
Manage staff – handle employees’ issues and conflicts, manage staff schedules and absences
Provide the team with any important updates and team requirements
Work with the central team to improve site’s performance
Who you are….
Experience in a line manager or team leader role
Able to demonstrate high level organisational skills and ability to communicate a variety of information and instruction to the operational team members and leads.
Knowledge of cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment including compound control
