Position Overview
We are looking for a remote intern to work with teams to distill complicated problems into simple and elegant solutions. You'll work on projects and guide them through research, exploration, design, and delivery for the solutions that power the Autodesk Construction Solutions. During your time, you will be paired with another team member who will guide you in learning our technical infrastructure and assisting you on your projects.
Responsibilities
Work closely with your design mentor, product manager, and engineering partners to design solutions for customer problems
Use Figma and other documentation tools to explore design solutions and get them ready for engineering execution
Build domain knowledge and an understanding of our users’ mental models to design intuitive workflows for them
Bring your work to design critique and work with other designers to refine and test your solutions
Leverage user research to test your designs with users
Minimum Qualifications
Design process knowledge, with experience applying it to different types of problems
Experience with Figma, Sketch, Invision, or similar design and prototyping tools
Can work within an existing design system, and have an interest in contributing to and evolving ours
Include a link to your portfolio. (It doesn't have to be fancy! We just want to learn about your work and how you think.)

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
