Workplace Technology Specialist (Level 4)
The core purpose of the Workplace Technology Specialist is to deliver exceptional end-user services to the business, reporting to Workplace Technology Lead. This position will play a key role in embedding IT initiatives and supporting Aurecon New Ways of Working.
This role is responsible for providing local and remote support to business users as required with a focus on customer service and user adoption. This is a business facing role and represents the ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground for the IT function. The team is the first point of contact from business users for IT related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, bringing enthusiasm and collaborative work ethic.
- Taking ownership of cases and managing them to resolution effectively and proactively, in line with service level targets.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive log entries of faults (and notes), with resolution and contact details
- Managing proper hardware and software inventory.
- Respond to customers' technical issues in a timely manner via on-site, phone, Chat, e-mail and other appropriate means.
- Supporting Autodesk, Bentley & specialist engineering applications desirable like AutoCAD, Revit, Etabs, etc.
- Providing support for cloud application like Autodesk BIM360, SharePoint, VoIP
- Supporting SCCM or Intune to deploy OS and applications.
- Implementing and supporting laptops, printers, peripherals software with strong understanding of client facing devices
- Supporting Video Conference devices, such as Poly and Neat
- Experience about ServiceNow application on service and incident management
Experience, qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Information Technology
- Good communication skill in English (Writing, Speaking and Listening)
- Hands-on experience on active directory, O365, end user computing, meeting room facilities and collaboration tools
- knowledge on information security, networking, engineering software, enterprise application support, support implementation and cloud technologies
- Familiar with ITIL standard and able delivery effective services within ITIL framework
- Excellent customer service
