About Us Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) is an Australian mining and exploration company with a highly strategic landholding, and two operating mines in New South Wales (NSW). Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the team at Peak mine site in Cobar Basin. This role will look to Implement and maintain appropriate mechanical engineering standards, practices, infrastructure, plant and equipment at Peak Gold Mines. Key Responsibilities Ensuring and monitoring safety in the workplace by identifying and addressing hazards, participating in improving safety and ensuring all reporting requirements are completed.To develop and review the Mechanical Engineering Control Plan, standards of mechanical engineering practice and procedures for the life cycle management of mechanical plant and installations at the mine.Effectively communicate requirements to applicable personnel and teams.Provide mechanical engineering support to the project, operations & maintenance teams.Review, authorise and supervise the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair practices with a focus on safety, compliance, reliability, availability and efficiency.Managing effective use of available resources, including own time, in support of the delivery of the Maintenance team.Contributing to the development of capability within the team. About you Behaviour consistent with Aurelia Metals Values.Ability to produce a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months) for site access purposes.Current unencumbered West Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence,Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.At least 2 years relevant Mechanical Engineering experience.Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, Project & Auto Cad.Thorough knowledge of Mine Mechanical Legislative requirements.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management - written & verbal.Ability to communicate and coordinate with various departments across multiple sites.Ability to support various projects simultaneously.Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems.
