In this role you will be responsible for: Following maintenance and service plans for Operational Technology systems within the weekly maintenance plan process as instructed by the Operational Technology Engineer. United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody who have developed a brownfields expansion that combines a new open cut at United Collieries with the existing open cut of Wambo. UWJV is a Glencore managed operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you will safely and effectively maintain operational technology (OT) systems to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs. This position will operate on a Monday – Friday roster for the first 6 months while the successful candidate is provided with training in the OT field before transitioning the 4-panel rotating shift roster (2-2-3). About The Role In this role you will primarily be responsible for: Working closely with both mining and maintenance teams to ensure the continuous and effective operation of OT systems, Be able to proactively identify faults within OT hardware and software systems and undertake fault finding activities. Review and implement changes to in pit communication infrastructure to ensure all operating areas have required coverage. Proactively instigate improvements within OT systems. Work constructively with 3rd party OT system providers. UWJV OT systems include, but not limited to; Guardvant fatigue management, Modular fleet management, Argus Excavator fleet management, Rajant mesh Wi-Fi systems, PLCs, cisco and moxa communication hardware, cambium wireless communication system and associated OT servers, databases, firewalls and windows domain infrastructure.
