Alcedo Care are recruiting for Live-in Carers across the North West and North Wales area.
We’re looking for kind, caring and compassionate experienced carers to provide outstanding care in our various locations. You’ll have a big smile and an even bigger heart, the type of person our wonderful clients will look forward to welcoming through their door and into their home.
You will live in with the client, enabling them to have care provided to them whilst they can stay within the comfort of their own home, where they are familiar and happy to be.
*You must be willing to travel to Kendal for our inhouse training*
Duties may include:
- Helping with personal care (showering/toileting/dressing)
- Medication Administration
- Housekeeping duties such as cooking and cleaning
- Managing medical conditions (client specific)
Requirements for the role:
- To be able to live in with clients for a minimum of 2 weeks
- Willing to travel to different locations across the Wales area
- Minimum 6 months experience in a UK care setting, including personal care
- Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check / have a Fully Enhanced DBS on the Online Update Service
- Aged 18+
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK / not require sponsorship or have any restrictions
