Nature and Scope
The job holder is the Specialty Gas Production Technician who reports directly to Specialty Gases Operations Specialist. He/she must have high standard of safety and environmental awareness.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The production technician shall start blending jobs according to production planning This includes preparation and inspection of the empty cylinders and to send to the respective blending booth.
• All cylinder's inspection process needs to be carried out as per operation procedure and relevant work instruction.
• The technician should be able to interpret laboratory results correctly.
• The technician shall check and maintain the equipment/instrument of the department in good working condition.
• The technician shall prepare document according to work instruction and jobs assigned by the supervisor.
• The technician shall provide on-site customer service if required.
• The Technician shall follow the company’s safety policy and is responsible to ensure that safety precautions are undertaken in the working place.
• Demonstrate an ability to look after the general well-being of the plant

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
• 1~2 years relevant experience in the gas industry.
• Basic MS Windows / Office and SAP knowledge
• Able to drive forklift
• A team player with effective communication skills and customer oriented.
