1. Accomplish initial planning functions to include facilities and equipment planning.
2. Review and evaluate suggestions involving equipment.
3. Ensure follow up is in place for facilities development.
4. Develop/revise standards for Equipment to track and maintain life cycle usefulness.
5. On new and proposed weapon system repair assignment, establish and identifies the common, Air Ground Equipment (AGE) and maintenance Ground Equipment (MGE) requirements.
6. Provide technical guidance and coordination on unusual technical problems (for equipment) encountered during the production cycle.
7. Value Engineering Techniques will be used to: Examine high volume/high value components for design changes, depot repair procedures, substitution of equipment, etc.; to investigate processes and repair procedures for improvement; to design adequate tooling for depot operations not covered by technical data and provides adequate fixtures and equipment for direct production support.
8. Support the Production Supervisors in production meetings and assist in identifying significant issues.
9. Comply with and assist in implementing Command standard business practices, policies & procedures.
