3. The incumbent serves as team lead for Intelligence Oversight (IO) command inspections and Command Senior Action Officer for USSOCOM IO quarterly and annual reports.
4. Responsible for conducting a full range of Inspector General (IG) support services.

• Conducts curriculum development, course instruction, topical research, scholarly analysis and program evaluation for special operations education.
• Performs extensive critical analysis and tailored research that supports the learning outcomes of the incumbent's area of subject matter expertise.
• Presents Joint Special Operations doctrine, strategy, and operational curriculum to various Joint SOF Headquarters, Professional Military Education Schools, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commanders staffs, military services and agencies, OSD, and other USG agencies and, when directed, to equivalent levels and units of designated International Partners.
• Organizes, participates in and leads working groups, special study task forces, and research teams; prepares and/or reviews position papers and other necessary documents for negotiations between USSOCOM senior officials and their counterparts in DOD and other military services.
• Reviews current developments concerning assigned area(s) of responsibility on a frequent basis.

• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR).
• Serve as primary audit remediation liaison among stakeholders, assigned Component and Sub-Unified Commands, Service Providers, and Auditors.
• Facilitate process development, documentation, and improvement efforts to support financially relevant business processes across USSOCOM.
• Conducts analyses, reviews. and special studies of accounting and/or related financial information for assigned
  programs/organizations.
• Incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.

The primary purpose of this position is: To perform as a Management and Program Analyst and subject matter expert (SME), to conduct a wide variety of studies, analyses, evaluations, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution management for the formulation, presentation, evaluation, coordination, and justification of USSOCOM programs and requirements resourcing, for development of the USSOCOM Program Objective Memorandum (POM).

• Conducts independent analysis and assessment involving all aspects of command programs and resources for all classified and unclassified SOF activities, force structure, manpower, and capabilities to provide prioritization and program development, evaluation, and defense recommendations that support the development of the USSOCOM Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and other resourcing processes.
• Serves as a USSOCOM expert of the Planning and Programming phases of the DoD PPBES cycle from development of strategic guidance and the formulation and staffing of a POM thru the submission of the POM to OSD and adjudication through Program/Budget Review (PBR).
• Provides comprehensive program analyses for resourcing of USSOCOM acquisition, manpower, operational, and support requirements and develops recommended courses of action.
• Defends independent analysis and evaluation involving all aspects of command manpower, force structure, programs and resources and presents program resource decision briefings to senior decision makers and OSD decision forums.
• Responsible to ensure the protection of classified and sensitive information, employ operational and information security, and ensure that core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic view point to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.

• Provides strategic, professional and nonprofessional technical guidance as well as seasoned consultative advisory services to multiple USSOCOM senior leaders, POTFF representatives, and other specialists on the effective use of Services programs to support goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish missions for the agency and assigned commands.
• Plans, conducts and/or leads studies to improve Services programs and/or influence DoD, Service and USSOCOM medical and personnel policy changes for assigned multiple Combatant Commands that typically involve long-range, highly complex, and often politically sensitive topics.
• Directs and performs evaluations of a full range of programs at assigned commands and subordinate Component Commands and develops and executes improvement/enhancement plans.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Prepares and delivers written reports and oral presentations, e.g., briefings, training sessions, consultations, orientations, and discussions with assigned Component Commands' leadership, supervisors, customers, and co-workers; may conduct or leads conferences.

1. Responsible for the facilities management and physical security infrastructure of HQUSSOCOM's thirty-three buildings totaling 794,165 square feet.
2. Project planner, manager, and quality assurance engineer (QAE) for specified facilities sustainment, restoration, modernization (FSRM) and minor construction projects and other projects as assigned supporting SOCOM HQ's.
3. Government Purchase Card (GPC) Manager. Responsible for legal purchase of supplies and services using the GPC. Responsible for accuracy of information provided to approving official.

• Develops and assesses USSOCOM requirements/capabilities and assists in the acquisition guidance necessary to develop, process, field, and sustain all special operations training systems.
• Serves as a USSOCOM lead for the Doctrine, Operations, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, Policy (DOTmLPF-P) review and endorsement process supporting the SOF Enterprise.
• Represents USSOCOM as a decision-making member within working groups, integrated product teams, and committees where joint identification, validation, and prioritization of SOF-peculiar requirements and training systems are determined.
• Provides requirements management and acquisition guidance when performance characteristics, training requirements, scheduling, and cost baselines may not be met.
• Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that Classified National Information Protection security disciplines are fully
  covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet
  mission requirements.

1. Develops, refines and implements strategic guidance for the USSOCOM enterprise. A technical authority on applicable U.S. Government legislation, national policy, and strategic documents.
2. Identifies and assesses significant, controversial, and unprecedented problems; identifies and evaluates their impact on accomplishment of established strategy and plans objectives; develops and implements innovative solutions in conjunction with established processes to achieve required results.
3. Establishes working relationships with DoD and other U.S. departments and agencies; maintains proper coordination with adjacent USSOCOM Directorates, Theater Special Operations Commands, and service Special Operations Components for cross-functional synchronization of strategic planning and analysis efforts.
4. As Senior Civilian within the J52 supports Division Chief and J5 leadership in their responsibilities to manage Division uniformed and civilian personnel.
5. Ensures the security of classified information associated with strategy and policies involved with special operations. Analyzes related information and ensures documents produced by the Security Force and Security Assistance Section are properly classified and protected from authorized access.
