Welcome to The Priory Care Home in Romford, Essex, where our expert team provides person-centred care for Residents aged 65 and over. Our Home is within easy reach of London, and located within a leafy and peaceful setting.

Our care and support teams work side-by-side, to care for Residents with a range of needs, including those living with dementia and Parkinson’s. Our aim is to give Residents the opportunity to live happy, meaningful lives, safe in the knowledge that their wellbeing is our top priority.

Residents can feel right at home as soon as they move in, able to personalise their rooms straight away. Some of our 24 rooms are available for couples to share, so loved ones can continue living together at our Care Home in Romford. Our busy activities programme ensures that every Resident has plenty of opportunities to socialise and make friends.

The Home...
Welcome to Cloisters Care Home in Hounslow, where we offer specialist care for Residents with a wide range of needs.

Your Responsibilities…


Leading, supervising and training the care team.
General nursing duties-wound care, general observations, blood sugar testing etc.
Being responsible for ordering, storing and administering medication.
Keeping precise, up to date records.
Maintaining the Resident's dignity and respect at all times.
Having a great relationship with the Resident, their families and any other parties in contact with them-Drs etc.


The Day Shift: 08:00 – 20:00
The Night Shift: 20:00 - 08:00

Our talented Senior Care Assistants lead our care teams to provide the highest standard of care, compassion and resident dignity. Working closely with Unit Managers or Deputy Manager, you will be tasked with: Administering medication, personal care, team supervisions, developing, implementing and updating care plans adhering to CQC guidelines, coaching and mentoring your team whilst identifying training needs.

The Credit Control Manager has responsibility for the integrity of the Group’s Accounts Receivable Ledger. This covers the entire Advinia Group, with turnover of £100m and EBITDA of £16m, together with the reporting of the 36 Care Homes debt reports and analysis.

The key systems used are Sage X3 (Enterprise Management) and Cold Harbour.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Leadership


This role would lead on debt collection and monitoring.
Produce detailed reports for the executive team showing the monthly financial results including KPIs detailing the operational performance
Deliver best in class processes to ensure that the debt is collected as quick and efficient
The post holder will have excellent written and verbal communication skills


Service Improvement


Provide monthly reports to Care Home Managers to enable them to make effective financial decisions.
Improve the electronic data feeds between feeder systems and Sage X3, to speed up month end reporting
Take the lead on legal cases for debt recovery.
Manage DD collections / local authority / and credit control team


Reporting


In addition to monthly reports, this role will also provide weekly KPIs to senior management to ensure urgent action is taken when performance is not met
Provide monthly analysis on debt
Provide monthly detailed analysis for cashflow and working capital, in order to deliver working capital improvements


Managing


To work within Advinia’s values and ensure that decisions are aligned with the organizational objectives
Constructively challenge the behaviours that hinder change or do not support the organization objectives
Identify independencies across departments and provide support to adopt collaboration and partnership working
Maintain excellent communication and partnership working with rest of the finance team
Act as a role model for finance and support continuous improvement
Manage personal time effectively to confidently manage challenging and changing workloads

The Opportunity...
Are you an experienced Assistant Chef/Cook looking to work in a fast paced environment? Are you a good team player with experience in volume catering? Then we would like to hear from you!

Your Duties...


Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as and when required
Provide for special dietary requirements when necessary and take into account the preferences of the residents
Liaise with the Home Manager when planning/costing menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh food
Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
Adhere to COSHH standards
Report immediately to the Kitchen Manager, or person in charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident
