We are a forward thinking and progressive health and social care provider with a proven track record in providing high quality Care at Home across Cheshire West and Chester. Following a year of incredible growth, we are looking for a HR, Relationship and Engagement Manager (HREM) to join the team.
We are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic and forward thinking professional with strong HR and employee relations experience to support the operations, recruitment, compliance and training teams in developing and implementing strategies aligned to our mission, pillar and values to enhance employee engagement, ensuring that all employee’s feel a sense of belonging, purpose and fulfilment, whilst managing all HR daily functions.
The Role
You'll have overall responsibility for all employee engagement platforms and analyse data to assess needs, identify trends, design initiatives and measure outcomes. The HREM will work closely with key stakeholders to support with engagement across all functions within the business.
Leading our People and Culture strategy and function, you will lead and manage a range of business activities including employee engagement initiatives, talent and performance management, recruitment and retention of talent, wellbeing, equality, inclusion and diversity of the workforce and future workforce, pay, benefits, employment policies and organisational change.
Responsibilities
· Promote a positive workplace culture and maintain morale through engagement initiatives
· Taking responsibility to ensure that employee engagement is monitored, analysed and initiatives implemented
· Build positive relationships with the management team, providing effective HR support, guidance and strategic and operational expert advice on all aspects of employment including recruitment and selection, wellbeing, induction, performance, long and short-term illness, occupational health, maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental leave, flexible working etc
· Manage all aspects of Health and Safety across the business
Advise and support the Management Team and Heads of Departments on workforce issues and the development of organisational structures, preparing relevant statistics and reports as required.
Be an escalation point for complex ER cases and supporting management in managing a caseload of employment matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, redundancies, performance, dismissals and tribunal claims, discipline, grievance, restructuring, TUPE, redundancy and so on.
Being responsible for accuracy of all transactional HR processes, ensuring they are timely and streamlined in relation to contracts, exit interviews, references etc.
· Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
Resolve and mediate employee grievances and complaints and provide advice and counsel to managers and staff on human resources issues and best practices.
· Developing and maintaining HR policies.
· Designing and delivering HR relevant training courses to managers and employees.
Provide coaching and support to supervisors on managing employee performance.
· Onboarding for new hires and continuous learning opportunities for current employees.
· Ensure the organisation complies employment laws and regulations.
· Maintain accurate and up to date employee records.
· Engagement survey data analysis, insight, Feedback, assessment and support
· Participate in the development of HR strategies aligned with the organisation's goals.
Providing HR advice and guidance to employees.
Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and practices
Stay abreast of the changes and developments in the human resources field and the relevant legislation and regulations and advise management on the necessary actions and compliance measures.
Essential Skill Set & Experience Required:
Qualifications CIPD level 7 qualified or above Experience.
Previous experience in an HR management role.
Experience of Employee Relations issues Highly experienced in using HR information systems. Thorough, up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation.
Proficient user of IT programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
People management and development experience.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Specialist knowledge of HR
· Exceptional ability to lead and manage people and to prepare informed HR advice for others.
Ability to adapt quickly to a changing business landscape.
