Acu-Tech, a nationwide leader in the manufacture and supply of polyethylene pipe, products and services, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our experienced and service orientated team.
The role is mainly involved in the fabrication, fitting and assembling of structural components of various production equipment/machinery. You will be joining a tight knit highly skilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipe manufacturer.
Responsibilities of the role includes but are not limited to:
• Interpreting drawings and specifications and determining suitable materials, methods and operations sequence.
• Setting up and operating machining tools for pressing, cutting, boring, drilling, threading and bending.
• Fitting and assembling parts.
• Conduct quality inspections on parts, equipment and machinery.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and quality checks.
• Fault finding and diagnostic testing to determine root causes of equipment/machine malfunctions.
• Replacing damaged/faulty components on equipment and machinery.
• Accurate record keeping of all maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in equipment and machinery commissioning.
• Adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

• Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 p/a
Requirements to be successful
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and responsibilities
• Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma
• A team player with a can do attitude
