Immediate Start Electrical Plant Engineer - Permanent position in Wednesfield must be NVQ qualified.
Experience required includes installation, programming, and troubleshooting of electrical drive systems, specifically Siemens and Allen Bradley. Must be capable of modifying PLC programs to resolve faults and possess understanding of isolation processes.
Salary: £38,000-42,000 per annum, including shift allowance for a three-shift pattern, Monday to Friday, plus bonus.
Acorn by Synergie seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to bolster their client's Engineering Team in Wednesfield. The primary aim is to meet plant operational targets, maintain product quality, ensure customer service, and uphold health and safety standards.
As part of a multi-disciplined team, you'll deliver efficient engineering services to manufacturing customers. Reacting promptly to engineering, quality, and safety issues, you'll leverage your expertise to initiate corrective actions.
The role entails reporting and recording maintenance and repair details using appropriate maintenance management and IT systems.
Candidate requirements:
Candidates should hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade or have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Preferably, candidates should possess an industrial background with qualifications up to 18th Edition IEE standards and BTEC ONC / HNC level or equivalent. A solid electrical background with a proven track record is essential.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team and must be well-versed in current health and safety regulations.
Ideally, candidates will have experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding within commercial or heavy engineering / industrial environments. Adaptability to new equipment is crucial. Flexibility, a desire to learn, and a commitment to professional development are also essential traits.
