Technology/DPA Lawyer 2 years+ PQE - Exeter
An award-winning Legal Practice based in Exeter and is looking for a talented Technology/Data Protection Lawyer (2 PQE+) to join their Legal team.
The successful applicant will be handling a varied caseload, including technology, intellectual property and data protection law matters. We are looking for someone who is inspired by technology and the changing legal landscape and who is able to apply their expertise to solve complex legal issues.
In order to be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 2+ years PQE in this field and a strong academic background with a law degree and a professional legal qualification.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of relevant technology law alongside a deep understanding of both intellectual property and data protection law. They will have the ability to conduct client interviews and advise on strategy.

Responsibilities:
* Provide advice on legal issues related to technology, intellectual property and data protection.
* Leading negotiations, drafting agreements and advising on legal strategy.
* Creating innovative solutions to legal issues.
* Supervising and training junior members of the team.
* Provide advice on legal changes, new technology and legal risk.
* Co-ordinate with other departments on interdisciplinary matters.
* Act as a contact point for clients and provide support to the managers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Minimum of 2+ years PQE in this field.
* Strong academic background with a law degree and a professional legal qualification.
* Knowledge of relevant technology law.
* Understanding of both intellectual property, Technology and data protection law.
* Ability to efficiently conduct client interviews and interviews.
* Experience of supervising and training junior members of the team.
* Ability to effectively understand and respond to legal changes.
