In this role you will:
- Prepare conference proposals and contracts, covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs.
- Coordinate the entire cycle of conference and events from enquiry to post-event follow-up ensuring client satisfaction.
- Co-ordinate and host familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up in conjunction with sales team.
- Achieve budget targets relative to the conference and events department.
- Assist in the telemarketing for new clients and define their potential to the business.
- Co-ordination and production of conference collateral material, in liaison with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Lead weekly Banquets Event Order meetings and co-ordinate between conferencing and other relevant departments to ensure that preparations for conferences have been made.
