Salary: £32,042 - £33,259 per year *+ an additional £3,000 - £6,000 per year for sleep-ins (working approximately 4-8 sleep-ins per month)
Hours: – Full Time 39 per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

Key Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people. You will be responsible for delivering quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home. Your key responsibilities include:
· Leadership: Leading your team and working with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.
· Role Model: Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
· Supervision and Mentoring: Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
· Daily Management: Overseeing all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
What Do You Need?
· Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home.
· Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
· Knowledge: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
· Attributes: Highly driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
· Skills: Experience with budgets and rotas.
· Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.
· Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.
