This is an opportunity to work at Ashgables to provide nutritious, varied and well balanced meals to service users. To ensure food is prepared and served safely and hygienically and manage and control the catering budget.
As part of a team you will work closely with the staff team to provide assistance in meeting the dietary requirements of our service users.
We are a large Care company that still manages to maintain that warm family feel, with great support networks to include regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring for our staff. We keep our homes small for that personal touch and to ensure a person-centered approach for each person that lives with us. Ashgables is a registered care home with 24 beds and currently has 18 lovely people residing with us who receive support from our friendly kind staff team, we would love you to join the team.

Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to effectively plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals which are appealing, nutritious and centered on the service users' preferences, requests or dietary requirements. To understand and comply with the requirements of the relevant legistations that surrounds catering.
All our Adult Care Workers support our residents with mental ill-health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment, including supporting with daily living skill development, personal care, community-based activities, and working with some behaviors which may present as challenging.
Working hours are 7.5 hours daily for a total of 37.5 hours per week, weekend rotation
