Model Based Systems Engineer, Senior

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll design engineered model-based systems using Systems Modeling Language (SysML) models in support of a wide variety of customer missions. This is your chance to enhance your skills in model-based systems engineering and digital engineering while gaining experience in software applications and systems. Perfect your skills by merging software development and agile system development methods and designs through Digital Engineering and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). You'll utilize your skills in systems engineering, modeling, simulation, and data analysis while gaining experience with state-of-the-art capabilities and emergent technologies. You Have:
5+ years of experience with systems engineering, integration, and testing
Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
Experience with MBSE and digital engineering tools and processes
Experience with software development
Experience with MBSE tools, including Sparx Enterprise Architect, Cameo, Magic Draw, or IBM Rhapsody
Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevSecOps
Ability to use UML, SysML, and UAF modeling and architecture frameworks
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience as a software architect
Experience with software configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, or certification processes
Experience with Agile project management
Ability to interact with technical, non-technical, internal, and external stakeholders at all levels
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
OCSMP Model Builder Fundamental Certification
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
